Either the something in the VB is messed up or TC is going out causing all the problems. When cold, truck barely moves in any gear. Can rev to 4K and it's only crawling. Once warmed up, OD feels like it's always engaged even with the switch turned off. I can feel it going thru the gears, yet it's stalling right around 2800 as it should but it feels like I'm pulling a trailer. On the freeway, I shut OD off and it takes about 15 seconds to drop out of OD.
So OD solenoid and TC going out at the same time, perhaps?

That sounds like more than Torque converter homie, cold issue sounds like hard lip seals, the "feels like towing a trailer" sounds like maybe High gear clutches are smoked and warped and are dragging/partially engaged at all times when the transmission gets to operating temp. You could also have a sprag issue inside the converter. My opinion it is time to pull the transmission and go through and see what is messed up.
