    Default Western Chassis Hangers

Bought a set of lowering hangers 2011ab from Western Chassis for my R/T and than discovered their claim that they won't work on an R/T.
Has anyone installed these? Why won't they work on an R/T?

I have WS hangers but they came with the 2" - 4" lowering kit and I bought it quite a few years ago so don't know if something has changed. i don't see a 2011ab part number just 2011, Summit has them listed as working on the R/T.

I'd call WS and ask them.

Summit shows them for 1998-2001, I have a 2002. WC said the frame was wider at the rear hanger and that's why they wouldn't work.
I looked under the truck and it looks like they should work.
Was the frame different on an R/T?
Anyone else have exp. with them?

Far as I've heard, the frame on R/Ts is the standard Dakota frame. The hauling and towing loss comes purely from the rear suspension softness on the R/T to make it handle (with the bonus of better ride). Now... maybe there was a change from 01 to 02? Dunno.
