    Default 5.9 Magnum Differences?

When looking at 5.9 Magnums, everywhere I look, it list 94-01, and then 02-03 separately. Is there a difference? I always thought they were the same. I am having to go back stock for now, and was looking for a motor. My truck is an 03. I haven't tore into my motor yet, but it is toast (locked up).

When the 4.7 replaced the 5.2, they switched from a bolt on crank pulley to an integrated pulley and balancer combo on the 5.9

I think EGR went away when OBD-2 came out in 96. And I think cam specs changed slightly somewhere along the line, which is where a lot of Internet myth about RTs getting a 'special' cam that made more power comes from.

So basically what I thought, all the same. I might just have to switch sensors and/or sending units (which I planned to do anyway).

I've been through this hands on,,, if you use earlier block in 02-03 there's a motor mount bolt that won't fit,,so your missing 1 mount bolt to block..
I have an 03 that had 29k on the factory motor and wanted to convert truck to 408 and didn't want to use a good motor to do so,, had a tough time finding a useable block etc. from wrecking yard in my area.. Found an 03 with 80 k on it...
