Default HiPoTek PDC Support Brackets Dakota 1997-2004

The HiPoTek Power Distribution Center (PDC) Support Brackets are used when the battery is relocated and the OEM battery tray is removed. Since the removal of the battery tray no longer supports the PDC, the HiPoTek PDC Support brackets secure the PDC in place.

Richard, any chance you can make one that would bolt to the outer fender since I would like to remove the inner fender. I know there are a couple bolts right behind it and it could be secured on the bottom with a bolt through the plastic into a nutsert on a fixture.

This, I'd buy one right now if it it did. The inner fenders need to go!

I guess I'm not sure what you are referring to. Are you talking about the plastic liner or cutting the inner portion of steel fender out?

Was my only concern for when I eventually relocate battery. Awesome work as always. It'll be in my cart on next purchase!

I want to remove the inner portion of the steel fender out. To make it look somewhat like Chad's.

I don't think so. Not that I have seen. I was just thinking of a tray of sorts that bolted to the two bolts on the inner fender area. I don't plan on making it hollow, just removing the metal liner portion.

The inner fenders just unbolt and you're left with this:

I've never removed the fender so I wasn't sure if it was all one piece or bolted together. Thanks!

Now that I think of it that wouldn't make much sense if it was all one piece. lol

Yeah, it's not super obvious that the metal inner fender isn't permanently attached at first glance with all the crap in the way, but they're actually really easy to get off once all that crap is gone lol...

I've wondered if all the air getting under the hood makes this really worth while.

From what I can tell the inner fender is the plastic piece. All my stuff is in place blocking my view but it still looks like the piece Chad has removed is spot welded to the main fender. I found this ebay fender and that's what it looks like there too: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Fenders-...NXRuHQ&vxp=mtr

I think he means the part with the large square openings.

Not to be confused with the fender liners.
