Default New to the forum and looking for a motor

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I'm in the Vineland area 08360. Have always wanted to pick up an R/T. So just recently picked up a 99, but unfortunately its going to need a motor
Does anyone have one or have a lead on an R/T motor.

FYI the Dakota R/T engine is not specific to the R/T. A 5.9 out of a Ram or van will work as well.

Same heads/cam as all the other 5.9's. I believe the 5 hp difference was from the less restrictive exhaust after the catalytic converter.

^this, when you see us talk about our "R/T cam" it's just a myth that was proven wrong and we just use it as a joke now

the truck you have now has a motor right? buy a rebuild kit for a few hundred bucks, slap in/on a cam, intake, exhaust and SCT and you're good to go. heads if your budget allows.
