Prayers sent....To both you guys.
Man I'm a lucky little shit, gonna be 64 this year and not one single thing wrong, no aches/pains....Nothing.
Knock on wood.

Well Dead, I know what you're going through. If I could rip out my spine and replace it with polyurethane bushings, I'd do so. Wrecked it with 30 years of logging as the main job. Thought I was hot shit dead lifting a thousand pound stem (500 lbs) to kick a choker under it. Now, I can't lift a head out of an engine compartment. Percocets and Vicodine for desert. I think the addiction is your brain just wanting to stop dealing with pain.
Was on a really bad choo-choo for a while. What rescued me was acupuncture and foam mattress.
You'll go through this for a few days. Switch over to Aleve for now till the pain's edge wears off. Much better than dealing with a near life time with this crap. It'll be over before you know it. Hang in.
Finally pulled my engine out of the shop today. Finished doing some last minute prep work and primed the oil pump again. Took a turkey injector and shot a little marval oil in the cylinders and turned it over a few times. Once I put the plugs in it is a lot harder to turn over by hand. Probably pull the plugs to make it easier to turn it aligning the converter bolts. I'll be installing the engine tomorrow. About time. Engine been sitting on the stand for about a year. I'm ready to hear it growl
I warned you that if you built it too pretty it would become a garage ornament.
Get that thing in there and we want pictures and videos!

Break it in dry, don't oil the cylinders.

Finally put my engine in the truck today. I tried to post some pics here but couldn't get the pictures to resize to post. I posted some pics on the FB R/T page.
The job is Finished!!! All that is left to do is wire up my e-fan, top up the fluids, load the tuning and turn the key. Been a long road but I got it done. Thanks for all the good words and support my friends. As soon as I get some time off work I'll be firing this thing up. I will post videos of course.
I'm jealous! Glad yours is in, and getting closer to being back on the road.

Posted a video on the Dakota R/T Facebook. Some reason I can't post photo/videos here anymore.
Thanks for all the support and thanks to all the people that sold parts to me.
I'd love to see the video, but since I'm one of those people who are never on FB where is it? I've found the page (I think) but nothing since 12/21 has been posted. point me in the right direction please, thanks.

Well after all the time and money I've put it into this thing Looks like it has got me beat. I've ran out of ideas on how to get this truck to run. When it runs it's awesome but it doesn't last long. Engine seems to run great but all I can figure is it's got to be in the eletronics/wiring/computer. I'm lost.
Don’t completely give up. Maybe take it to a shop?

Not much luck on that either. Shops that I talked to here don't want to touch as soon as I tell them it is not stock and has custom tuning.
Don't get discouraged it's probably something simple.
What kind of problem are you having exactly?
Project Maverick. I feel the need, the need for speed
Started off as a random misfire. done all the usual things like changing sensors plug wires check grounds etc. Then it progressed to only running good when engine was cold. After warm up power dropped rough idle and hard surging at idle. later it got to the point of random stalls while driving and having to wait a bit before it would restart. No-Bus showed up a couple times. That led me to the new pcm. now with the new pcm i'm getting transmission codes. Feels like it.s slipping on take off and doesn't shift in to overdrive
