    Default Seat rails

Ordered a corbeau CR1 seat today and I interested in making or buying a manual slider to drop as much weight as possible. Are the passenger and driver rails interchangeable? Can you guys post photos of your seat rail setups? Thanks.

I like the adjustability of my electric seat rails on my viper seats, but it adds a ton of weight. The driver and passenger are no where close to being interchangeable.
I have a lot of pictures on my phone, not too much on here in my thread.
I basically welded my rails to the viper rails. Search for srt8 seat swap here (if I can't find/post it up) little write up on how he mounted his

I'll take a look. I won't be putting power seats back in. I have zero need for them.

The new seats don't come with brackets or sliders at all?

With my srt4 seats, I just cut the 4 bolt brackets off the dakota seats and welded them to the srt4 seats. The srt-4 seats are both manual.

I'm not sure what they come with to be honest. I had no intentions of buying one but I sat in a floor model and didn't want to get up so I said screw it and ordered one with adjustable lumbar support. They're stupid comfortable.

I'll probably go with these and make my own brackets.

Forgot to update this. I had to cancel the order because apparently the shop couldn't order just one seat even though I specifically asked if they could. I plan to order two once I button the motor back up. I had head and intake gasket issue that I want to make sure are fixed before spending money on seats. I'm also going to be running external lines from the back of the intake to the t stat housing area to improve cooling.

    Purty.

    Looking forward to mounting technique.

I attempted srt-4 seats once. But the curve of the back prevented me from getting them back far enough in the reg cab to not have my knees in the dash, so I put the stock seat right back in

I plan on getting manual driver seat rails and using flat bar stock to mount the seats. Shouldn't be too complicated.

They're cheap? I must be poor then. What seats are not cheap? And that don't have a 'sticker price' because they say viper or some other brand on them?

If looking for good seats for a decent price check out cipher automotive! Bolting the sliders directly to the floor worked perfectly for me and lowered the seat height by almost 2 inches from stock (Im 6'4)
