    Default Wrong balancer???

So I just purchased the Professional Products harmonic balancer part #80012 for Chrysler small block, to replace my stock one as it appears to be coming apart and looks unsteady while running. Problem is that the bolt holes for the pulley do not line up w the holes on the balancer. Did I order the wrong pulley or do you need another type of pulley to run this balancer?

Should line up, I have the same pulley but with part number 90012. Are you sure the pulley was fully seated against the balancer?

Had the pulley off the truck and placed flat on the balancer. Holes didn't line up

Wonder if you got an LA part. The holes on the balancer may be offset and only go on one way. Have you tried rotating the pulley to check for 'clocking'.

Can you still get ASP underdrive pulleys? Or any other underive pulleys? I have a 99 R/T but the engine is newer than 99. I know the crank pulley changed on 5.9's halfway through 99.

Keep in mind LA and magnum have different weights so make sure you're using the correct one.

80012 and 90012, one of them is for the 318/340 and one is for the 360 IIRC. One is also SFI and one is not, also IIRC.

According to professional products booth 80012 and 90012 are both for magnum engines, you just don't use any of the counter weights. I did rotate the pulley on the balancer to check alignment. My pulley has 3 bolt holes. Balancer has 6.

That's strange. I wonder why they would do that? Either way the one I have is different.

So I got a new pulley and installed the balancer today. Put the balancer on w no weights per the prof products instructions. Now I get vibration w throttle. Not sure what's going on. Anyone have any thoughts about this? Were 03 magnum engines balanced differently???
