Awesome! I really appreciate the feedback on this.
On a side note, I visited the machine shop that rebuilt my heads. Told them I have the engine out, and have the parts to bring in with it for the 30 overbore build. They said, because a lot of the shops in that area have closed, their work has more than doubled, so they will not be able to rebuild the engine as promised when I picked up the heads. They can do the machine work, if I disassemble the engine. They can order the bearings, and what-not, but no time to build it back to a long block so I can put it back in myself, as planned. Now I know a lot of you can do this in your spare time, and have done this left and right, but I do not have the time to do this. My search is on for another machine shop than can do all of this. A little bummed, but it is what it is. You might say, "You can do it. You have the factory manuals. Common, build it, it's nothing that hard." I can only say, I seriously do not have time for this with all my other projects as a home owner, and just other projects. Machine work and assembly all in the same place. The search is on. No truck running, no motorcycle racing till it is complete. Others here have a passion for drag racing, or even auto cross, but my passion at 53 years old is still motorcycle racing.
