    Default Transmission Seal

I've noticed trans fluid leaking out of the output shaft seal on the rear of the transmission where the driveshaft goes in. I need to get it replaced but have never done it before. Any pointers or how to threads on this?

Take off your drive shaft from the U joint and the trans yolk. Slide off the yolk. Remove output shaft seal and reinstall new seal. All my seals eventually leaked. Original seal when I bought it, The seal I installed a few months after I bought it, after it was rebuilt by a hack of trans mechanic, and finally the Z-code I have now. There is always at least a small amount of fluid easily visible when I've looked at that seal. Maybe some RVT would help

Alright cool thanks. Figured it wouldn't be to difficult. Every time I look underneath, there's fluid dripping down off the seal to the point where I lose about a quart every month or so.
