    Default 1972 Challenger Rallye

This car would only be $17350 U.S. IF you couldn't talk him down any.

All you gotta do is assemble it comes with all new parts except engine/trans. Drop an R/T drive train in it and have a really sweet ride!

    I have a 1973 Dodge W100 with a rebuilt 360 running 340 J-Heads, that would be a nice upgrade for that.

Absolutely! I've been sittin' on a 340 in a basket for 30 yrs now! That could finally have a home. LOL

No kidding. E-bodies should have one of four engines in them as far as I'm concerned: 340, 383, 440, or Hemi. Yeah, I realize some of them came with slants, 318s, 360s, and 400s, but forget those. I realize that a 3g Hemi or some big cube Hemi would be cool in the right car too. Guess I'm just talking if we're dealing with a pretty stock appearing car like this one.

392 belongs in 50's and back, I love it and have one but it resides in a '59 d100 pickup

people will put a 392 hemi into a muscle car so they can say "yea, it's a hemi. I now have a hemi E-body" you get all excited, they open the hood, and you see the distributor in the back. Suddenly you're like "oh....fo' realz? nice car" then walk away.

being an original 340 car, I would build a 408 magnum motor for it and drop it in. --but keep it dressed as a 340. even paint it blue and be like "yea, it's just an old 340 with a purple cam"

people also tend to forget about how large the 392 is, we shoved one it a b-body once, then realized it needs the 440 back in it

Don't forget the high output orange ignition box mounted on the fire wall.
