Just an FYI... keep an eye on wires going into the water pump, mine were loose and ended up shorting out inside the motor, my temp gauge was pegged on the return road.
Wiggled the wire and and it started working so I made the next round.

Thanks Dave.
That is all getting rewired with different connectors
Big stuff is done being wired on the motor. Came out real clean. Still need to finish wireing fan and water pump and fuel pump. Getting real close now. Finally got some time to work on it, between the 5-6 week outage I work, then thanksgiving and Christmas, I couldn't buy time
Motor is timed and ready to fire up when I finish wireing the accessories
Nice....

Shit is getting real now! Can't wait to fire this thing up, it has probably been a better part of a decade that this club has been following this motor over two different owners and two different builds. ill say it for you guys- ITS ABOUT TIME!
old thread from when Dave Downing owned it and it was a 425, for the newer members that wasn't around back 10 years ago.

all my accessories are spaced out 1/2" due to the need of adapters with the use of w-5 heads.
But surprisingly the innovators west balancer required no spacer. So if it was used with accessories on factory based heads it would probably stick out 1/2". I got lucky with this one I guess
Tomorrow is start up day. All the money, hours of work done. Time to hear this thing run.
I might not be able to sleep tonight
Why sleep? crank that bitch up.
