Thread: Sparco's and red led gauges finished

Default Sparco's and red led gauges finished

Whats up everyone got the seats and gauges finished up. I mounted the seats with wedge brackets, bolted the seats to the bracket without the seat height adjusters. For the gauges i used 194 wedge leds from superbright led part # WLED-RHP5( these are bright enough where it comes through the factory filter no problem). For the hvac controls i soldered some neo type leds together in one socket. Same for the headlight switch. The pictures of the gauges don't do it justice there much more red and just the right brightness.

Yea they worked out great thanks again. Im 6'2 so i was a little worried about how tall the seats would be with the brackets compared to stock but without the height adjusters they were perfect. The sparcos sit about an inch lower and plant me in great.

The indash i used was meant to be used in a vw passat. I used the vw trim bezel and lowered the hvac controls to fit it. I used epoxy to fuse it back together. Spayed with a polyurethane primer, base and a few coats of clear.

No. I only had to cut the metal bracing and upper part of the dash. The stereo i used had mounting tabs attached.IMG_1385.JPG
