    I think the weld together kit is a really good idea. You can cut the framing and all the pieces, get the shocks, just not the sheet of aluminum for the top. That way shipping would be cheaper, and that way someone can weld it together them self, or source it out locally. cheaper initial price and less shipping should make them sell quick. Just offer no warranty what so ever on a tonneu kit because it not being built in house.

    That's a good idea, except mine are not welded. I wanted to make them so, if it got dented or bent you could just swap a new piece. I feel that this product is way cool. I wish everybody lived by me so you all could see my Picasso.

    This is a really really good idea man, I'm very impressed. If you came up with a kit, I think you'd be set.
