IT'S SO UGLY IT'S ALMOST CUTE. but i kinda like it. What do y'all think?
should i buy it? would i be able to get my money out of it if i decided i didn't like it?
Come on, y'all, chime in.
kinda old school, kinda overkill, but kinda cool too. If a little is good, then more is waay bettah, right?
Ive seen a similar one on a silver rc when ive googled dakota r/t pics. Kinda old school super stock dart style, i like it if whats under the hood matches its sinister look cause it will draw plenty attention
What about the solar yellow cam only truck, sorry bad memory getting old, isnt his hood similar

It's alright. Not a terrible looking hood in person

I have a friend with one on a big 1962 Chrysler Newport. Looks great on that car, and that car's hood is more flat.
Looks out of place IMO on a hood that curves downward and is a little more narrow.
The six-pack hood set right looks killer on these trucks to me. Would be cooler with a 6-pack F&B manifold/TB's.

Find out what hood it is, it didn't come with that hood scoop, and it's not stock.

It's a custom piece, I spoke to him about buying it a few months ago.
Again, it's a custom made, one off hood. Tim Almasy made it with an old school Hemi dart hood scoop mated to a stock steel hood. It's nicely done--functional, craftsmanship is fine. It's just a question of whether you like the style.

Rev limiter? that's what valve springs are for!
Yeah, its all a custom job. Thank you all for the feedback. Its set on a stock hood, as far back as it could reasonably go, lines are filled, and bracing cut out and filled smooth.
There are a few things I would change, but overall it came out good IMO. There are a bunch more photos in the album.

Yeah josh your hood looks real good and the srt style that user had was nice too. Think that is the two best styles imo they dont make many for the dakota so you have to go custom to be different
