Now it was time to get ready to pull the trigger on paint. I was super nervous about doing it but I needed to get going on this truck so I started off with the smaller items.

ANNNDDDD there it was that Glorious Intense Blue pearl!

Clean up time. I was so nervous about doing the actually truck I ended up cleaning it over and over again to finally stop when I realized it was 3 in the morning and I was still at work.

I decided to do the paint it stages to help eliminate some tape lines. I did the roof and B-pillars 1st and only tape line I had on the body would be behind the qtr glass. On the other tape lines I utilized the factory body seams

As of today I do have the truck home and back in the garage for it's final repair before becoming truly road worthy. I am working on taking the the trans out for a complete rebuild. At the time that I was doing all the body work it was moving on it's own but it finally took a crap and I knew it was coming but hoped it would hold out for a bit. So yeah that is where I am at with the truck Painted and at home for a trans rebuild.

Anybody want to donate new decals for the doors and tailgate? LOL!

That is the only thing I don't do with vehicles is paint and body work, kinda wish I would have learned but I don't really have the patience for that stuff.

Haven't seen it yet with the exception of red and black trucks, but I think it would be cool to be able to spray the engine same color as the truck. Probably a problem with heat paint availability. I wonder if FoMoCo blue would match (horrors)
    Great job on the R/T
