Real nice work. Glad you're going all out on everything right from the start. I was delusional and kept trying to just do the minimum and still am doing the same work over and over because i didn't just do a complete overhaul right from the start.

Well did another round of sandblasting and got the parts into primer
Then I coated the calipers, drums and my spare diff. cover in Chrysler's Granite Crystal Metallic.
The front and rear sway bars and the springs got a coat of Intense Blue Pearl........It may or may not flake off the springs but I threw a bunch of flex additive in with the mix. I guess we will see how long it will last.

Another little thing I have been working on is the shaker hood. I did not like the way the original mount was made with one rod straight up and the other angled way forward then just 2 washers smashing together to hold it all. So took my ideas to my dad and we worked out something on his milling machine. We also moved the mounting hole on the bottom of the shaker back so the new threaded rod will be straight up and down.
We got some rubber grommets in the hole so it will help absorb any vibration and reduces the risk of the fiberglass cracking.
And these are mounts for the the shaker. We made a top and a bottom that will sandwich in the rubber grommets. There will be a locking nut on the top and bottom to hold everything in place. I will have a better picture of in installed once I find a color to paint the shaker. Not sure if I want to color match or go satin black.

Looking good, nice job on the shaker mount.
Welp, it has been sometime that i have posted any update on the truck. A bunch of things have been going on in the family so had to step away for some time. But just wanted to share the updated photos of what has happened over the last several months.
Now for this stupid roof that had some hard rust to remove. This sh*t put up a fight. I didn't want to sand too much on the roof in fear of the heat created could possible warp the roof.
So what I did was apply some Evapo Rust on the the roof and let it sit overnight:
This is what it what I found the next morning after removing the cover
I was able to sand the rust right off after that. I took care of some little dents I found while i was up there.
