    Default Turbo Kit interest?

Gauging interest. How many people would purchase a turbo hotside kit? This would consist of two log manifolds, and a crossover to accommodate a T4 frame turbo. This should support 750 whp with a 88mm turbo. This would be a fraction of the cost of the currently available kits.

    - this would be headers/piping only. Meaning, you would source everything else. This allows the end user to put together this kit in a piece meal fashion, since not everyone can dump 5-6k on a whim.
    - Tig welded, backpurged.
-all fabwork would be done right here in the USA. You'd be supporting an American fabricator.
-cost is looking like 1500 USD for mild steel (w/ or w/o coating is TBD), 2000 for 304 stainless.
-T6 may be offered as an extra option.

These would not be sold thru me, I am collaborating with a fabricator that is building both Jeep turbo kits, as well as this one, should there be enough serious interest. This fabricator has previously facilitated the ATS diesel compound turbo kits. He is very enthusiastic and is looking for a donor truck in the Denver, CO area. Donor would get a full kit for cost of parts and discounted tune pricing (~3500 all together). Vehicle would be needed for 1-2 weeks.

EDIT: As a courtesy to the community and for those that are seriously interested, please keep this on topic specific to this kit, not other kits, etc.

How long until these are actually made and would they fit a second gen Ram 4x2?

My fab guy is ready to go right now. He just needs a donor vehicle.
We have discussed the Rams, the intention is to use logs and keep it tucked in close to the engine so that the manifolds could potentially be interchanged ( although perhaps the crossover would have to be different ) with the Rams and maybe even the Jeeps.

I would consider offering MS and SS options.

EDIT: It's entirely possible. I'll admit that I am definitely not a welder or fabricator, so I am not speaking from direct experience. I trust the judgment of Travis my fab guy, and this is still in the "exploring" phase. I do not want to sell or be associated with selling junk, and at the same time I want to keep the cost under control.

Both will work but SS is usually more sought after. Offer both but make it clear that mild may have a shorter lifespan.

I would prefer mild steel uncoated to keep the cost low as possible, then the buyer can get them coated and what not.

I agree but I feel like this would come back and bite ryan in the ass. People would probably find a way to blame him for any issues that were caused by what they did.

I see the price update. Is the $1,500 for the mild steel uncoated or coated price?

Although some of this is still tentative, it looks like 1500 may be for uncoated. I will need to confirm this.

We are actively searching for a 2wd 97+ Dakota. Should have something this week, fab will hopefully begin next week.

I've sent my end of the money required to get a truck into the shop so fabbing can begin.
