maybe I missed something in the last 15 years...not familiar with the deez nuts corp/inc im gonna google it when I'm done with this post...
here is my standpoint..
oem mopar....
take that Chinese crap and throw it in the trash, pay the 60$ and get a mopar one and literally throw the still working cheap ass part sotre pos in the trash....
working for dodge for 10 years I see what non mopar coils do to pcm's
on MORE THAN ONE occassion have seen a pcm that had a bad ignition coil output circuit and no short to power/ground present and wiring testing fine and replaced the pcm with a known good one or mopar reman pcm that IMMEDIATLY had the SAME problem...
if you have the condition then you need to replace the coil THEN replace the pcm or itll fry the pcm again and again... sometimes your lucky and it just repeatedly fries the coil every few months until you get a mopar one then your issues are over.....this is something even the Chrysler star center is aware of but no bulletins have been issued, this is where I got it from....
well see what others have to say but I can tell you my ignition coil has a 1" mopar logo etched into the side of it and I have a like new "test coil" ... don't know a lot about the "performance" versions like msd or accell or whatever but I do know the previous owner installed a part store version ign coild, after the msd coil failed.... I removed it and put a mopar one on for piece of mind....don't want 20$ coil killing my mopar performance pcm...
edit: I should also add that I use a msd6a in conjunction with the mopar coil

This was the same way on mazda rx7 600 hp out of 1300 cc we ran oem coils.
The Accel replacement coil for our trucks is better than the stock unit. I run an msd 6al, and an msd blaster coil.
same set up i have as well. i love it. got better fuel mileage and performance with them. you can also look for msd boxes for nitrous set up or boost set ups. so keep you end goal in thought when buying one.
Accel is GARBAGE!!!! stock ignition is all you need till you start hitting it with real power adders or some serious compresion on a stroker.
With that said my R/t has a MSD pro billet distributor with a Digital 6+ box and a HVC II big blue coil.

my truck runs fine on stock ignition with an MSD coil. the stock coil and harness end has been long ago removed by the previous owner. That said, I run mine on an MSD just because. Do I need it? no. Does it make more power? doubtful, but I've not done back to back dyno pulls. butt dyno says no. I just like running the MSD ignition, plus it has a rev limiter that cuts spark, vs PCM rev limiter that cuts fuel. No fear of it going lean as a rev limiter.
but, ask me again in 2016 and we'll see if I've changed my mind.
