Mine are 25 thousandths off from center to center with eddy heads. Jomar is supposed to be getting a set of heads from Hughes and making me a new set. Just a fyi
This is with Eddie heads for those that don't know Joe's combo....

[Duner] : I was afraid I was going to go too fast and scare myself. Lucky for me - the DA rose up to save me.
[Kotta390] : Oh that's right! Well FML.....Looks like I am getting shafted because of my bore size
[BlakDak71] : I don't run oil, I run a special blend consisting of Hellman's mayo and the tears of a pregnant mermaid
[Kotta390] : My electric water pump puts out too much fuel at idle and is not a variable pump which makes it overheat in the summer at idle if I sit too long
[KotaRT] : Ed, you can have cake, as long as I get something in return

And they checked out straight? Perhaps the drilled/tapped stud hole on the head was machined slightly crooked. A worn drill can "walk" creating a crooked hole. Reason why I say that is the machining process of the girdle is pretty straight forward. Chuck some aluminum bar stock in a vice and CNC machine away. Yes, I am a machinist by day and play a doctor on night time TV. Anyway, keep us posted.
If you haven't lived for something, you'll die for nothing.
"the vast majority of the people on this website are such tight asses that they could probably squeeze out diamonds - but they'd never spend the money to buy the coal' - Steve F. 2012
"Don't be obsessed with your desires Danny. The Zen philosopher Basho once wrote, "A flute with no holes is not a flute, and a doughnut with no hole is a Danish" - Ty Webb, 1980
Maybe they were a set that someone bought from Edelbrock "raw" and did all the work on and got the spacing wrong when they did the holes....
Knowing the history of the heads would help a lot with that determination....
