Honestly that is a huge *if*, but hauling a 5.9l in the back of a 3.9l v6 Dakota is probably the only way you can get a Dakota with a v8 to get anything close to decent gas mileage.

It's still early, and I'm like a squirrel with my plans with this truck and its time tables anymore, but *if* I plan to get anything from Nats it would be the parts for a true RT suspension. *If* I do decide to get parts and *if* I decide to plunge into getting my v8 (might require a lot of parking lot beer), I would most likely pick it up after Nats when I am spending time in PA since you are near Pottstown and I'll be hanging out in Chester County and South Jersey.

Steve, I'll probably still go. My son is going after all. It's the whole shit storm about the Rebel flag and all the strife that was created. It does not show us in a good light, considering current times. Persecution of any group, for any reason, rubs me the wrong way. That flag represents persecution and a very dark time in our country's history. I hoped we were more evolved than that. Like I said before, if you want to play up the whole north vs. south/Mason Dixon line thing....why not have both flags ? I know I was a bit of a douche' about this, but I want our club to be seen in a better light. That is my point, plain & simple. Hell, I wound up dressing down Todd, in a public forum over this, and that was wrong. But having that flag on our meet shirts, in today's day and age, is wrong too.

If some people are butt hurt by that, sorry for your luck.

You are entitled to your opinion of course but the confederate flag does not mean the same thing to everyone....

    Case in point:

Depends on the cost of fixing my R/T motor and if I will have access to a trailer, I would love to get my calendar signed by Chazi!

You are wasting your time with closed minded people who feel only their opinion is right and no one else will convince them other wise. They forget our country was founded on a treasonous act from England, and the theft of land from the Native americans, but that is all OK.

Let that be the final say.

Neither side is going to cross over to the other's way of thinking. Despite what is taught in written history, both sides of the argument are allowed to think and feel whatever they want. At this point, it is what it is, the meet logo won't change, and we need to accept it and move on.

Just like in the article Josh posted, Let's not let this flag/symbol continue to divide us.

Parking lot brew will be a plenty, I assure you, comrade I'd be willing to give you the DRTC discount, if interested of course. Shoot me a PM if ya'd like to discuss it further buddy

That's an out-take pic from the Caitlyn Jenner article in Vanity Fair. Still want to see what's under the flag ?

Yes join first, then register for the meet - there is an option to register without attending that is cheaper.
