I've gone back to debating if I'm going to leave the battery in the box and install a cutoff switch, or move it back under the hood. I have all the parts to go either route, just need to make up my mind. I plan on taking it to the track next year, so one or the other needs to happen.

My only real concern is how I would install/mount the cutoff switch. I don't really care for the idea of having to knock a hole somewhere in the back of my truck to install it. Any creative ideas, insight, or pictures of how you guys have done it?

This rare and lovely lump of aluminum just showed up at my house late last week.

Time to get some stuff figured out over this winter and make some more power this summer.

Are you hitting up people who bought them to try and persuade them?

About all I've done so far is try piggyback on OldKota's thread looking for one. Probably going to start a thread of my own. I know I could probably get one of the multitude of adapters out there and run a big single on it, or pick up an F&B 58, but I would really like to just go with an Accel 1350.

Do yourself a favor and buy the 1350 from JEGS or holley direct - summit is out and they are saying that accel discontinued it

Gee thanks I'm almost done working on this other truck then I can focus on my full 03 brake conversion, then paint work. After that head porting, new cam and finally the M1 4bbl and TB... Maybe in a year I'll be ready for my accell TB

Started pulling my front end today. Got a long list of stuff to do before spring that I should have started a long time ago.

Will be putting a stock front bumper, headlights, and tail lights back on it. Have to get the stock front bumper, the roll pan, mirrors, and door handles all painted. Already have the paint, just need to get the stuff off and actually do it. Need to decide on a TB and get my 4bbl M1 installed. Going with something different for rolling stock. Lastly, but most importantly on the list, I'm getting my heads redone. Smokes pretty bad on startup so I'm having guides/seals done, and having them ported while they're at it.

Here's the progress a friend and I made last night towards getting the heads off:

And now I finally know for sure that that are MOPAR Mopar heads, and not Mopar Edelbrock heads:

Heads should be heading down to the machine shop on Saturday. While they are being taken care of, I will be working on the stuff that needs to get painted. It looks like we'll have a decently early spring up here in Northern MN this year so I'm trying to get this thing done by the end of April.

Posted this in the "what did you do to your R/T today" thread too, but got the handles and mirrors off and added to the "to paint" pile.

Also modeled my new top end decorations on my counter. I can only assume they'll look a lot better under the hood.

Yep. Between the porting, 4bbl M1, 58mm F&B, and whatever roller rockers I decide to put on it, it should be even more fun to drive this year.

Lol I honestly have no clue. I don't believe they ever ended up on a flow bench during the whole process. I would have liked them to, but with how financially irresponsible I am in other areas, I needed to get them freshened up and back together on the cheap.

I know these aren't that great of heads, but I didn't have the funds to start from scratch this time around. All I'd imagine is, they're better than stock Magnum heads, but probably around the neighborhood of of as-cast Eddie, maybe an Eddie with light porting.

Still needs to be cleaned up better and have some details ironed out, and it's not really anything special, but I'm pretty proud of it.
