I've got the instructions figured out with the exception of the fiberglass insert. Can you share and/or show pics on that part of the install. Thanks.

So it's the black piece that's been modified, reworked, fiberglassed, painted to look original? I can see the bottom part that's been cut/shortened just fine.

The entire console is 100% stock with the exception of the part the Megashifter protrudes through. Basically, the piece just replaces the cupholder portion of the stock (1999) console. The bottom or gray portion of the console is unmodified. I bought the replacement piece from Glen, then modified it to fit.

Alright I apologize in advance for the tread jack....

Where can I find a floor shifter like the ones pictured? Does anyone sell everything needed to convert over to a floor shifter in a complete kit? That has to be one of the coolest things that could be done to our trucks. What do you do to the column once you take off the column mounted shifter?

You can get Hurst, B&M shifters from summit.
After installing a floor shifter, you can fill the hole on the column with the same part used on manual dakotas to fill the same space

They are universal kits too BTW. Most people have installed them without too much trouble.

If the guy that makes the inserts will ever get rolling on the project, he said he was going to sell complete packages with the shifter of your choice.

Actually it's pretty far from the dash. That's in first in that pic. You should have driven it in Atlanta. It's a blast.

I need to get a pic of the B&M in the R/T since I've had a few people ask about it.

I'm sure I would have enjoyed driving it, but IIRC you broke something that weekend? My luck it woulda let go when I was driving.
