nicely put. I like the 275 on an oem wheel. I just cant get over how sick a 335 tire is. Maybe its overkill, but why not. its a street tire on my daily driver, so no rain issues, and would look sick on a set of widened rims. As soon as i get them mounted ill post pics for the jello to begin

I don't know who decided the 275 is the "gold standard" cause I've gotten way better performance out of 255 tires than the 275s I've ran. Unless you just want the look, or to say you have 275 width tires, stick with 255/50s for price, performance, and selection.

    Anyone try these?

i was gonna throw a set of these on some stockers for track use.Or would i benefit more from wider street tires?I also love the look of the 335s,but $500 for a set of slicks seems easier and cheaper than widening rims and buying street tires.

Anyone widen rims here in edmonton? I know my shop could do it but I don't trust our current machinist to machine anything.

275s will look better, but I'm not aware of any decent soft compound tires available in sizes that work well for us. Plenty of hard junk sport SUV tires like the falken though. you can get some pretty soft compounds in 255/50 and 255/55.

I currently have 255/50 hankook tires on my 17-inch wheels and I'm planning to get a wider set of tires next time.

    stock R/T wheels?
    street truck?

I would go 275's on the rear with R/T wheels and A street truck, 275 came stock on first gen Durango R/T with R/T wheels.
