That was fun as shit, guess I love arm drop racing. I was beating guys I know who are faster because they sucked so bad at it.

Truck felt really good...Launch is hypersensitive to getting a good burn out. No bouncing ball rear tires. I have no idea what any times were, they never did the timing lights to work; Mopar race was postponed.

Sure is nice of you to think of this place during your down time, when you could have been planting seeds Farmville instead.

Left em at 15, played with rear shocks a little, I tried them softer 2 clicks...Nope. Never had a chance to try harder a click or two.

You might be on the edge of too much pressure and perfect pressure. Need lots of track time .

T&T in two weeks, I'll have a better tire pressure gauge so I can make accurat 1/2 lb adjustments.

They had the track well prepped for a "No Bull" series index race and the Mopar race, but when the timing lights wouldn't work they let it go away so my early launches were a lot better.

Since they were doing arm drop racing without any timing, some guys who have to back off because they don't have proper safety equip were having a good old time.

Yeah, and my wife said the launch is really smooth now with the 2way adjs up front.

I was basing my times off guys whom I raced, one was a SC Mustang, he runs mid 11s, I beat him, another 454 Corvette runs high 11s, I beat him and mid 11 sec Maverik, (sp?) I beat him too, hell I beat everyone I raced....Most people were having a hard time with the arm drop format, I loved it. Arms up...Don't go. Arms down...Go.

I was hot lapping, my wife said everyone including the announcer was betting the Mustang would take me, everyone cheered when I won, it was close, but I got him.

Crowd loved the arm drop racing, they seemed to be a lot more into it. Lot's of cheering drivers on, I mean every race...Never seen that before.

Even got some hot little girl up to do the arm dropping...Old school FTW!

    That does sound pretty fun.

Can't wait to go back to the US and be able to work on my junk. I need to learn wiring because it needs to be redone.

It's about the most fun I've had at the track...Party atmosphere with the racers and fans, lots of tension early on due to the fatal crash last Friday, I think this is what everyone needed.

Wiring....Gotta do it once to know how to do it, read everything and have a plan before you start.

I'm glad it ran good - but sorry you weren't able to get any timeslips for verification. You are pretty much having the same luck I have when it comes to getting timeslips lately.

Maybe I can get stationed in AZ so I can pick your brain one weekend.

Can't wait to see what it will run. Great job on everything and the new found power.

    LMAO!

Bingo. Armdrop racing is the shizznit.

But you have to clarify when you can leave. Do you leave on the beginning of the drop? or do the arms have to be all the way down.

I always left when the arms started to drop.... Didnt give a shit what the other guy ( guys... 3 wide sometimes ) were doin

[Duner] : I was afraid I was going to go too fast and scare myself. Lucky for me - the DA rose up to save me.

[Kotta390] : Oh that's right! Well FML.....Looks like I am getting shafted because of my bore size

[BlakDak71] : I don't run oil, I run a special blend consisting of Hellman's mayo and the tears of a pregnant mermaid

[Kotta390] : My electric water pump puts out too much fuel at idle and is not a variable pump which makes it overheat in the summer at idle if I sit too long

[KotaRT] : Ed, you can have cake, as long as I get something in return
