Thread: SCT is out of 9550 x2's

Default SCT is out of 9550 x2's

SCT is out of the 9550 x2. They have discontinued it. They are a few months out from moving the dodge platform to their X3 device. The X3 "may" even have a data logger but I'll have to see it when it comes out. They said it should though.

I've got some X2's in stock and will continue to sell them until I'm out. As it looks, the x3 will be another $100 to $150 higher price than the x2

Any other advantages of the X3? (Besides maybe having a data logger)

yea, what he said! what else is cool about the x3?

will those of us running the older stuff be better off if we switch? If all it has is data-logging capability, then I've already the LM-2 to cover that

Far as I'm aware of, the only benefit to the X3 will be the datalogging. If that comes to pass There was also some rumor at PRI that they may put it on the Livewire device but my SCT rep keeps saying the X3 instead.

I heard they left it open ended like "By the End of the year"

I think we may need to start emailing SCT to ramp up a release date to this new product!!

my sales person said "a few months". They originally mentioned mid summer to me. I think sales@sctflash.com may get into them. I probably only have enough stock to get me another month

Count me in.. I've been thinking of getting a logger, but I'd be fine with this.

Will you still be offering canned tunes for the 9550 x2's? I have the tuner just haven't bought the canned tunes yet.

Just talked to the sales rep. They are DEFINATLY coming out with the X3 format for all their already supported Chrysler vehicles and then adding to that with both older and newer vehicles.
Should be by the end of summer they are currently actively working on the X3 for Chrysler everyday. Again should hopefully have data logging.
So I'm holding off for the X3 instead of spending another $400 on the Lm2 hopefully everything can be done in one handheld unit that that would be awesome

Did she provide you a ball park price for the new one? I can imagine it'll be quite pricey with the data logging feature added...

I think MAP on them is "around" $379. Will be interesting to see if they come blank like the x2 did, or if they come with preloaded tunes of theirs

You will still need a wideband (LM2 or other) the X3 is only supposed to have an obd2 datalogger. This does not give you AFR.

    Good point Chris.

Also, email them weekly and ask when its coming out. Have anybody you know send an email weekly just so they realize there is a demand
