Default What Wax do you use and How?

I'm a Meguire's Guy since Day I got the truck I like the Gold class line and use the cleaner wax alot to keep up with small stuff tar, rubber, bird shit.
I spray it with Final inspection between washes (once a year)

What do you use? To apply I have two hands and a Rag no power stuff good old fashion elbow grease! But Im getting old and have thought about an orbital buffer?

Thought's on that and post what you Use to keep it shiny.

Wolfgangcarecare I use this stuff it is the best I have ever used! I wanted a good product for when my truck was painted and found this
I got it form santa last year and this stuff is amazing!!
Very little elbow work easy on and off, hand wax
It is a clay bar, paint cleaner and a 3.0 paint sealer with spray detailer.
It is for highend auto and paint care you can not find in your local parts store.
These are the items I have for detailing my truck.

That looks like good stuff Brian.
I kinda shy away from Non-Auto store brands because I go thru cleaners so fast with 3 rides to keep clean.

I use only microfiber or cotton terry cloth. I found them micro cheap @ Carlisle this year after checking all the vendor's there. I use the "catch factor" looking for good micro fiber alot of tug on the skin tells me it's good stuff when feeling it in your finger's. Some china brands say 100 micro but aren't they have poly in them.

I can say that your truck looks Tit's with what ever your using on it

My eye was on their Fuzion carnauba/synthetic blend paste wax. It was on sale yesterday. Normally $175 + a refill, yesterday it was $99 shipped.

I started using Zaino in 2000, right after buying my r/t. I like the way it goes on, wipes off and the finish is great. Can't bring myself to try anything else. I puchased an orbital buffer this summer, that I am starting to get better with. Made the truck look new again. I'm actually wet sanding and buffing out the new paint on my wife's Z3.

I often wonder if wet sanding my truck would be worth the trouble
I've got a lot of tiny scratches that dont go away with wax it's from years of wiping it down I guess

Wet sanding at this point would be creating alot of work for yourself. Get yourself an orbital buffer, like one of these.
    http://www.autogeek.net/po.html
Pick out some pads and a light polishing compound. You will be amazed at the results.

I'm hesitant about the synthetic waxes, would rather get Pinnacle's carnauba, a Dodo juice wax or other high end natural wax.
Plus it was a Tuesday only deal.

Good link's Guys but I wanna hear what your putting on your ride and what you've found work's best

    My ritual is:
I always use dish soap to strip off wax first then a good cleaner wax for base. Then I polish, then Gold class for top coat. Sometimes I leave the wax and polish sit for hour's before it comes off. I do all of this by hand. I swear it's causing damage to my shoulder's and elbow's after 10 years of wax on wax off

I have a buffer but it's on a grinder with 6spd's and not orbital I don't use it on Red truck because I'm not that skilled with it yet I've burned the paint on the DA once with it so I won't touch red truck

The problem I'm noticing now is small swirl or scratches I cant seem to get rid of in the clear I didnt notice them before the last wax I just wonder if it's from age and yrs of wipe down's at car shows? Polish and Glod class wax use to clear it up now not so much
