Wiper cowl is a good idea, but I gotta get this thing ready for spring. Maybe next time I pull the motor I will do the wiper cowl

Cheezed out, and dropped the R/T off at my mechanic for new front hubs and alignment. After 2yrs, and maybe 3k miles of the most ridiculously smooth/pot hole free, straight line driving, the right one is making noise/about to go bye bye.

Nice , I filled my bottles just before winter, and they've been sitting in the cold in back of the truck, might have to drain them and refill next spring !

Amen! Having owned 4 of the Gen 1's, they are fun as hell. My 4 door ACR was my favorite for sure. 132hp SOHC with bolt ons that ran 14.8 @ 89 and would without a doubt would shit all over 99.9% of the trucks on here on an autox course.

How do you like those? I was planning on making them my next set of rear tires.

Lateral grip is fantastic, car doesn't really make enough power to tell you anything about straight line traction They do not like being out in the cold or wet though...

Neither does the truck lol. I need something with more grip and Michelin PS2's are too expensive.

The NT01s and their R888 cousin definitely have better dry traction than the PS2s, but their wet traction doesn't really exist and they won't last anywhere near as long either. Fantastic dry traction for the price though.

Do you have experience with the R888 tires? Michelin doesn't sell 335/30-18 PS2's anymore so I need to find something else. I was considering g-force rivals.

I haven't used them personally, but know other people that have that love them. Nitto is owned by Toyo and they're both made from the same basic carcass. The new R888R even looks like the NT01 now instead of having a different pattern.

The R888 is better in the rain though.
