I don't really under stand the point of going to bigger brakes with 6 piston calipers if you're not racing, unless it's just for the cool factor. ABS kicks in with the stock rotors and pads, and after installing the ceramic pads I was doing some testing. I got the brakes to the point that they were smoking heavy and I could still lock up the tires and make ABS activate. If one was racing I feel the money would be better invested into a better wheel/sticky tire combo, you'd get faster laps than you will with shit tires, heavy wheels, and 6 piston Brembro's.

I'm not engaging in a pissing contest about how much brake you need or why. All I will say is that stock is horribly inadequate. And these 6-piston brakes are grossly overkill.

Beyond that, everyone has their own opinion on what's needed or not.

The Porsche and Audi weigh less and they seemed to think the brakes were relevant. Beyond that, more brakes is never a bad thing. Period.

I was just curious, because I've never actually experienced real brakes other than SRT8 brembro's, which stop HARD with less leg effort.

I am not sure why you're drumming you didn't "show me" .... The simple fact is as you add more power and make the heavy pigs faster better brakes is never a bad thing, but I digress I wasted thousand$ on brakes too.

Tom, Do you have brackets for sale that work with the 6 piston calipers? Need part number for rotors.

No. I don't. I will not sell a piece/part. One thing I've discovered is that there's a substantial amount of variance in the casting/machining of the spindles, and therefore the precise measurements used on one spindle, will not work on another, and I have to hand fit each one. (I've actually built 2 sets like this so far) so I will either sell you a full kit, or nothing at all.

I don't know part numbers either, but if you google search for Porsche Cayenne calipers, you'll find the ones I used. Rotors are standard off the shelf viper 14" rotors.
