I buy my oil and Mopar filters from Walmart. Cheaper, then just take old oil to closest parts store.

So in 2012 I got this fancy-schmancy touch screen double-din Pioneer head unit, and the Bluetooth connected to my pos ZTE bar phone. The only issue was that it couldn't pass the address book to the head unit. I then got a simple HTC Android and the Bluetooth connection has no issues. Then I got a better LG Android and they would not connect, and I lived with it. Now I got a new Samsung Android phone and have the same issues the LG had. I really f'ing hate tech because the companies rarely stand behind their products, and when problems do arise you often can't resolve it since the problem resides in some invisible software written by someone who was more interested in where everyone plans to go to lunch than in doing their job right. The touch screen randomly dies and I'm pretty sure that's software too since it is fixed with a reboot, and Pioneer did nothing because I was out of warranty. I loathe the idea of contacting tech support since each side will do little more than tell me to reboot and will then blame the other side: i.e. the tech support circle jerk of no support. In 3 years they've only released one patch for this thing and that was for an iPhone problem!

Meanwhile it resides in a truck that's 13 years old, is exposed to the elements 24/7, and takes physical abuse and yet that still works fine. Mechanical issues den to always have an answer while tech issues often have none.

And just what is it that you do for a living? Oh and buy a pair of ramps for your next oil change.

It's plastidip. You can buy it in rattle cans or gallons. Rattle cans are available at most hardware stores and Walmart. Gallons from www.dipyourcar.com

Filbert about 3 years ago. These are the slutty CCWs, everybody has had a ride on them. Probably at least 5 members here have owned them at one time or another.

Doubt you can get the Anthracite at the hardware store, probably not the glossifier either (although, they could probably order it). I got all my stuff off ebay, but you can also go to dipyourcar.com, it was just a little cheaper going through ebay.

I've seen both locally in stores. Its gaining in popularity. Another option is to find a local DYC authorized installer and buy from them. The DYC top coat gives a true gloss finish as opposed to the almost satin of glossifier.

I plan to use plastidip when the black decal between the front window and rear cc window breaks down. I had expected it to happen years ago because there were some breaks in it around the edge of the door, but I've had it nearly 6 years now and keep it in the Florida sun yet they haven't seemed to show any sign of getting worse in all that time. I had expected to need a sheet of the black plastic, but plastidip seems to be a much easier option.
