Looked at doing an integrated stripe on the hood as well. Going to finish it up to the top of the hood (where the window is) and then run a stripe around the outside of it - about 1 inch wide - with 1/2 inch space between the outside strip and the interior strip. Though, not sure if I like this at all. It is a bit much perhaps.
I assume these are facebook link pictures? if so then that would explain why I can't see them as the work computer firewall blocks images from facebook.

Just about ready for the bed to go back on, OCD will have me detailing the back of the cab first. The drive shaft and exhaust may or may not re-install prior to the bed.
This is following the frame rust issue uncovered here: http://www.dakotart.com/forum/showth...er-Use-Drivers

Picked up my freshened up short block, 410 now and freshened up 727.
The work begins.

Have everything lose on the trans , I went to slide it back but the dam converter is stuck to the crank, the trans already backed up about and inch but I can’t get anything in there to break it lose, any ideas ?
ARGH
The jesel shaft rockers must sit at a different height than the stud rockers thus increasing the push rod angle, I'm going to have to clearance the push rod tunnels, big time.
Running the same ratio, 1.6.

I got it loose, I kicked the tail back and forth till it came off the crank, dam billet converter and steel, not a good combo, now the sumbitch is stuck on the exhaust, which has never happened before, but being the trans has come so far back, the dam tail is hung up
Finally got the trans out, I need to replace the dipstick grommet, front and rear seals and put my 3000 MSaine stall back in, hopefully crossing my fingers , order the hipotek cross member finally
started on my gauges

Drove mine for the first time this year. The fresh air must have stressed it out, because something let loose in the T56 and now it goes into approximately zero gears, so back to the garage it goes.

cut the previous super quiet muffler off and added a full boar exhaust today. its not high dollar, but it no longer sounds like a prius when I start it!

Replaced the front pump seal, and reinstalled my old 3000 stall, anyone know where I can pick up a dipstick grommet ? I also sprayed all the bottom side with brakleen to remove all the trans oil, what a mess

Took the repo R/T 20’s out of storage, washed ‘em, polished ‘em and put ‘em on the truck. Went for a rip putting her slightly sideways laying down some rubber which was f’n fun
