My truck really needed a bath due to all of the pollen and shit the trees are dropping.

All the coin-op car washes in my town are closed except for one in the opposite (sketchy) side of town. So I gave her a bath!

They're looking great, Ernie! I'm playing catch up after being gone so long. Working on a couple things on the back of the motorhome before backing it up against the fence.

Couple photos while i'm waiting on intake bolts and header bolts and other stuff( ARP stuff is sloooooww) Photo 1 is that oil filter adapter for picking oil pressure for the twin turbos without the clutter around the gauge location. i'm going to put 90's on so they don't stick out so far when they come in. And the other pic is edelbrocks 1000 CMF throttle body i see a few talking about ( Pro Flo 4 is not made with an magnum style intake but parts including a stand alone computer can be bought seperatly) . Good day yesterday got all the rings filed and installed bottom end is all torqued and sealed up with returns installed. i must be getting old it took me 12 hours to get it done.

Got the headers back on, the coolant temperature sending unit in, cooling system filled back up, some more wiring mock up done, and did some adjusting on the carb for easier cold start.

Got the 4.56 gears in today what a job. Had an issue with the pin hitting the edge of the tooth and not going in straight so I hit the corner of the tooth (nowhere near the contact patch ) with the grinder and got it done and works great only need more power now lol

Ya you know I though of that lol but i don't think this old engine can take more then 150 shot. I have won 3 races so far but I'm real careful not to bite off to much fo my little 400 hp monster I could go to 300 shot because other engine is getting real close to the finish line . Cant wait. 3rd victim was a mustang with a 150 shot on street radials he was still spinning when I crossed the 1/8 mark so i just got my jegs order on his bank roll lol Was my first dead pony with this little RT

I can pick up from ARP and get a 15% Discount... but it’s actually cheaper to order from Summit Racing if I get the $100 free shipping. After a few visits I found out Summit has more in stock too! My nearest Summit is in Nevada, but I get bolts next day to SoCal.
ARP now has 1/8 increments in their bolts, not on their site yet, but a salesperson was able to get me what I needed and said they’ll advertise them this year.
Their main hub is maybe a mile from my house and factory is about 15miles away.

Nice its taken 5 days to get intake bolts, header bolts and rocker shaft bolts here in MI. Maybe JEGS is getting ARP stuff dropped shipped. I don't mind waiting on the good stuff because i've never had one fail me yet

4K would put your spray right in play at WIDEOPEN throttle ! So w/ the gears it would definitely launch hard

Yes it would till I scattered the trans all over the road lol I'd just be happy to turn off the stock rev limiter so I don't hit it on the spray. The reason why I shift early is it's at 5300 by the time it grabs another gear. I'm running a TCI 727 on other engine with trans brake so I belive that converter wouldn't work for that set up. This is a daily drivin street truck lol
