Dropped my Viper Seats off at Venzano Interiors to get new foam on the driver seat and fresh covers. Actually take off of a Viper that had 6000 miles when they had a custom leather interior installed. Look like new. Suppose to be done this weekend.

Got my forged Eagle crank back from the crank balancer today. My bob weight calculation came out to 1917.1g. So, I bought a crank with a heavier bob weight so I wouldn’t need Mallory metal. In this case, the crank counter weights are spec’d at 2050g, +/- 2% or 41g. 2050g – 41g = 2009g. 2009g – 1917g = 92g leeway. So, I figured I should be okay. However, it still took a slug of Mallory metal so you never know how consistent the crank counter weights are from one another and the harmonics involved.
I replaced the headliner fabric on my R/T today. And worked on my 8.0 L stroker for another truck I have... it's not an R/T

Mocked up my V1-T on a spare block. Test fitted Todd’s 2.0 1/2” Vortech brackets and figured out hardware to order. Parts are now ready to drop off to powder coating.

Replaced my front wimpy brakes to the 03 Durango, replaced the Belltech drop springs back to stock RT springs, added 2 1/2 shackle lift on rear to level it out, then got it aligned and replaced the front tires from 275/35-18 to 275/45-18.
I got tired from scrapping my frame and getting my spine smashed every time I hit a bump of any kind!! Now it runs silky smooth!!
Next is to upgrade the rear to disc brakes from a 03/04 Dakota and drop in 4.56 gears and change the tires from 345/30-19 to 345/35-19. That will make it a street demon!!
did you have the journals checked for spec and any taper ? my 4.150" crank for my big block got locked when i ran the main cap bolts down, not even torqued. turns out a main journal was not ground correctly right near the radius and had zero or less than zero clearance to the bearing at that location. center of the journal was on spec though.

Removed Vortech from mock engine.
Headed to Vortech tomorrow to have it dismantled for Powdercoat.

Nothing today but I added some rear bars to strengthen the parachute mount for trailer use, replaced the fuel cell and upgraded some of the fuel line and fittings.
I had to replace the 727 case and I went to a billet input shaft, that is all for now.
