Nothing ahhh, been spending $ on the dam Jeep !!!
Installed DA coil overs on rear, repaired my front single adjustable shocks, changed gear oil, did a bolt torque on the suspension and rear end, cleaned up some more wiring.

Sent converter back for restall.
Put it back in truck, waiting for this plan-demic to end for my local tracks to reopen. Seeing if I can’t run another PB in the truck when I get it out. I was losing 2100 rpm in between shifts. Should be more like 800-1000 now
Put some Eibach springs in the Jeep w/KYB struts ! Actually looks pretty sweet !

I spent the day washing & waxing it, for pics but then my son showed up with the week old grand baby, so bbqd and drank beer, tomorrow for sure
So.. we decided to take a drive to my sons house about 120 miles (Moses lake) to deliver a patio table he had bought, and let me tell you , I’m impressed such a smooth drive! I bought a couple of car wash supplies so that I can do all the cleaning this weekend.
Ditched the Pistol Grip for a different Hurst shifter. The Pistol Grip was cool, but with it being as close as it was to the center console in the even gears, it was near impossible to actually grip it and rip gears quickly.

Great for you! Reminds me to work on uncle's 2007 JK next. He ordered the Eiback pro-steering stabilizer, cooper tires and new brake pads.
Finally got the rear back together after a few weeks. Pulled the bed to to replace, saw all the rust and decided to cut it out. C notched and boxed the frame, and even relocated the battery to the spare tire area, since i haven't had a spare in like 10 years lol.

I bet. I've been laying down vinyl on my new car recently, and getting pretty good at it.
Today was a weird day for me 19yrs ago.... The obvious tragedy that befell this nation, but on that same day I picked up my first new dakota ('01 4.7L) that I had purchased the day before. It was hard to enjoy the thrill of a new truck that day.
Not to go completely off topic, but since the post above pertains to the weirdness of September 11th: my grandma died on September 9th, 2001. Guess who's funeral was on the morning of September 11th? That was a pretty shitty day all around.

Sorry to hear that Jim. Plenty of weirdness indeed.
If you/anyone hasn't and you get the chance, go see the 9/11 memorial in NYC. It's incredibly moving,,, it was real 'dusty' when I visited.
Vinyl would be much easier, but I painted mine, I like paint lol.
