I have that "Hollister Road" 2 spd relay system. (out of business now) that got hot and melted the relay sockets 2-3 years ago. My high speed went out also, but I think it was meant to "default" to low speed. I rebuilt the assembly with new relays and sockets. It's working fine ever since. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes I got the 408. Could have got the 360 too but the logistics of getting all the extra parts from Texas to Michigan was difficult and really don't have the room to store tons of stock parts I will never use. If these 360's were VIN stamped then I would have made the extra effort to keep the 360 with the truck.
As it went, last night got the wheels on and had the dust plate rubbing the rotor and had to take the caliper and rotor back off to straighten the plate. Tonight did some more clean up and went to take it for an evening cruise and the headlights weren't working. Fiddled with the switch and everything started working. Went for a short drive around the neighborhood to test the front-end. Nice and tight. Pissed off a bunch of neighbors with the Spintechs. Nice weather tomorrow, will be out for an extended drive.

I now have an R/T and took my wife for her first ride in it tonight. This past Sunday and Monday I drove it from Dallas to SW Florida. 1,260 miles.

Honestly, it's more than nice. except for a few very minor flaws it looks almost new inside and out. The worst thing is the headliner sagging down. I'll be fixing that very soon. I've already swapped in one of my Kenwood bluetooth head units, changed the tail lights back to stock (for now) and cut down the sub boxes so the seats go all the way back.

I've got a new set of EQ heads, a 4 bbl M1 and a mild cam and lifters on the shelf. I don't plan on going crazy with engine upgrades, I've got 2 other vehicles that have that covered.
