    Default What are you towing with to Nats?

    Well I guess I will start this thing because Im looking forward to this trip. It would be my first meet and going all out!!
    My 2004 F-350 and 40' deck trailer going to haul two trucks mine and Jody Fryer all the way from Florida.

    Driving the bitch with 27" tires, 4.10s, 727 and a standalone. Should be about 8-9 hours but might be more depending on how slow I go.

    driving with 28" tires,3.92,727,4k stall and running on race fuel, usually take 2.5 hrs im saying 3.5-4 lol 50-55mph is the sweet spot

    Lol, Im about to by another beater if Diesel gets to 5 bucks a gallon. I almost sold it about two weeks ago, glad i didnt.

    what you getting for mileage? my dad 98.5 cummins 24v gets 20 all the time pulling or not, its got a raptor lift pump 150hp injectors egde comp box with a banks exhaust housing and a 4in pipe, its a 5spd though and 2wd

    The manuals get way better fuel mileage. I get 17 in town, 20- 26 hwy depending how fast I go.

    Yeah those are the old OH plates but it retains the same phrase with the new NC ones as well.

    Old man has the itch for a new car. He's about to retire soon and I think it'll be a gift to himself. Basically his only gripe is that they don't make Plum Crazy anymore but there is a rumor it might be made again next model year. Either way, I say we put a hitch on the back and put it to work.
