Ya i think the QA1's would be the way to go.
anyone get valid part numbers for a regular hotchkis drop ? need a set of double adjustables asap
Maybe looking to order a set soon myself. I got lucky and scored WC drop arms on CL, so now I got all the parts less shocks for a full drop woot!

Well, we have all been wondering about part no's. I am unsure what information the OP 99blackrt has received at this point, his last post was a month ago.
I was going to measure the length of the shocks on my truck (completely stock setup), and then go from there to figure out the appropriate drop shock depending on the different suspension setups that people typically go with.
categories would be something like this:
-hotchkis drop stock
-front drop via springs (1-3")
-front drop w/arms (2-3")
-front drop w/arms & lowering/cut springs (3-5")
-rear drop via springs
-rear drop via blocks
-rear drop via shackles/hangers
It probably doesn't even need to be that detailed but I'd put all of this into a spreadsheet chart to reference the proper shock and hardware items. I have not had the time to do this yet however.
If anyone's really anxious, I'd say go here and try to get some help from calling QA1 direct. It all comes down to taking some measurements.

Does anyone know what size the Hotchkis/Bilstein shocks were? If we knew that it shouldn't be difficult to find a similarly sized QA-1.

Broken again... Rebuild underway.
I just received an email from qA1 and I have the update part numbers for the single and double adjustable shocks. I'll post the part numbers when I get home.

We recently updated our shocks with more adjustment and other internal improvements. This change caused the part numbers to change. The TC1914P is now a TS505 and the TC2501P is now a TS703. The SS300LT is a valid number.
double adjustable shocks:The part numbers would change to TD505 and TD703
these are the old numbers for reference:
Front: TC1914P
Rear: TC2501P
Loop Kit: SS300LT
This is the email that was sent to me by the guys at QA1 hope this helps

Excellent, thanks.
A quick check on froogle yields double adjustable setup all around would run $950 plus shipping.

These are the correct numbers?
I got the old part numbers from someone who is selling a set of qa1's that were with the hotchkis drop kit. I emailed the part numbers to the company they gave me the new part numbers.

i'd be interested, depending on price. I need new front shocks, I forgot how shitty my truck rides until I went over some bumps the other day.
3ish" front drop.
just saw koni makes some adjustables in a similar size for our application, anyone know anything about them?
any updates?

I believe Chad has committed suicide after making a set of long tube headers for our trucks.
maybe ill call Qa1 and see what they say
