Default 8AN Fuel Rails on Indy Intake

Here are a few pics of the custom 8AN billet aluminum fuel rails I machined for a fellow Dakota enthusiast, Joe, who goes by the forum name of Blue93Dakota on Dak/Dur. He has an Indy intake with unique injector spacing and mounting locations. He supplied me with necessary dimensions since I didn’t have the intake manifold to mock-up from. We communicated back-and-forth in order to get them right. He has a very nice build in progress.

I managed to pick up an M1 4-bbl intake the other day before they end up on back-order again. I will use this to mock-up the 8AN fuel rails. I anticipate they will cost $194.95 + shipping. (That includes the fuel rails, mounting tabs, and fasteners for the mounting tabs to the fuel rails.)

I'd much rather have those than my GiSM rails, lemme know when they're done!

Do you know what heads those are? They look like W-series stuff.

Rounded ends on the heads and I notice he's using spacers on the end.
Tha DakFink: 1999 Solar Yellow R/Three 468cui, W9-RP heads, Twin 76mm Turbos, Powerglide Trans. , Bob's Fab Shop 25.3 SFI Chassis for 10.5W racing .
    (Still in the Fab Shop)

Hot rodder rule of thumb....every $1 invested in head flow is roughly worth $3 in the short block

Not yet but should be soon. I've been so busy it has been on the back burner for a while but I just made the mounting brackets today.

This intake appears to be fine as it is for a 4-bbl set up. The intake ports are larger (wider) so it may be necessary to trim the intake gaskets. I will offer it with fuel rails (bare or anodized) and the option of a vacuum tree and IAT port if so desired. It will be up to the customer to decide which throttle body to use and how to hook up the linkage.

That is a FAST 1375 cfm throttle body sitting lazily on top.
