That actually dosent sound too bad for it. I have a vendor for my shop that will give me a really really good price on the viper calipers and stuff that i need for the rear brakes. But i just need the bracket and stuff to put it on my axle. Do you sell just those?
Ok so can you do any logo? because i wouldnt mind getting my mcfly logo done on one. The one in my avitar. What program would you need it done in? i am a graphic designer during the day so if you need it in illustrator or anyhing i could do that.
lol by really really good price i meant free. lol He tore apart a new viper to put most of it into a 55 chrysler that they are building and i designed for them. lol. He said i could have the brake stuff if i wanted it.
Tom that is why i ended up not getting your stuff. For the renderings i did and the design work i did for this car i got any viper related stuff that they dont use and also 1500 dollars and the brakes for all 4 corners on top. this car is fucking awesome. Not sure when it wil be done however. Prolly a year or two.
And brandon, Give me your email and i will send you a jpeg of my logo. you may have to clean it up before you put it into your program but whatever. If we can work something out we may end up doing alot of work together. We are starting to build a car we are going to enter to the Ridler contest. And we will need alot of one off parts. Can you do things as big as wheels?
Once I am up and running in a few months I am hitting you up. For whatever you can mustard up for a bad ass setup that fits 15 dia wheels.
So if I'm interested in just a swap for the front to a five on five what kind of time frame could you have something ready to ship?
I did this swap to 5x4.5 several years ago. Good luck getting axles from Moser as it took them 3 attempts to get them right. Maybe they took notes what NOT to do as with each new F..up they would get that dreaded wtf are you guys smoking call.LOL The front hubs were not an issue and for $80.00(plug and redrill) with the studs I wanted seemed a reasonable deal .
You can convert to ram pattern with an assortment of common junkyard parts. Almost complete bolt on.
Rear is a no brainer. Front is 03 kota spindles, 00 ram hubs, 4x4 f150 rotors. There's also some machining for clearance. The hubs stick out a lil further so u gotta take some metal off the caliper bracket so the pads don't rub. I think that's it. Not my truck.
curious...why the F150 rotors instead of ram rotors?
also, the Ram hub has the same ID for the spindle as the Dakota's? that's nice!
I know some of the older hot rod/truck guys will use Dakota spindles (Gen 2 I think?) to lower their vehicles. any idea if a ram spindle is close enough to be made to work with a Dakota? then you could just swap the whole spindle over, and keep the hub, rotor, caliper.

**Photobucket can suck my nut**
I'm a douchebag
I duno man. Like I said, not my truck. All I know is the parts list. I didn't do any of the r&d. That's someone elses credit to take. My truck has Boss 330s, so I have no interest in this swap. Just passing along the info.
