I started with a Keisler clutch. I still have it, maybe 3000 miles on it, it just wouldn't hold the tq once we finished tuning the truck. Personally because what I went through with keislers kit, I will never buy shit from them again. I only paid around 500 for my Mcloed clutch. Stop using summit for prices and call to talk to Lee about it. If u do pay a Lil more trust me it's worth your time and money to not have to deal changing your clutch again.

Yep, gonna have to measure for a new one, or if you have a RC get one off a CC and have it shortened.

Too long IIRC -- the factory driveshaft that'll bolt right up is out of a Ram IIRC...Barry Young can tell you for sure, since his truck was one of the early Keisler conversions.

Shit, my bad....thought it was the other way around and the Ram driveshaft was in between the RC and CC Dak lengths...which is also why I said to ask you for the definite answer...lol.

Ya, trans is a little shorter, not much though, maybe a few inches. The stock spintech pipes hit right in the middle of the u-joint with the 6 speed. Sure gives me a lot more room to put in bigger tubes though. Finished that this spring.

So stock rc Dakota 318 5speed driveshaft will work if your putting it into an automatic?
or is it a stock rc ram 318 2wd?
My rc dakota 360 auto driveshaft is 30 splines but slightly short and does not line up correctly.

    What driveshaft should be used?
i just wanna order a driveshaft already.....
