Im no welded but the old ones looked like a poor spackle job. Those look cleaner Haha.
yea it always sucks welding over a shity weld, it makes it super hard to get a weld as nice as it should be, i think whoever welded it did a damn good job

Looks familiar. It's very similar to a Centerforce dual friction in the way it engages and the pedal feel in case you've driven one of those. Mine did need the full 1,000 mile break in though FWIW. It spun once at the track on the bottle with 500 miles on it. Only time it ever spun on me.

Welding over a bad weld job is tough, it looks like it should not crack again, thats for sure.
