If you make 400 to the wheels with stock heads, that would be a real accomplishment.

yea it always sucks welding over a shity weld, it makes it super hard to get a weld as nice as it should be, i think whoever welded it did a damn good job

Looks familiar. It's very similar to a Centerforce dual friction in the way it engages and the pedal feel in case you've driven one of those. Mine did need the full 1,000 mile break in though FWIW. It spun once at the track on the bottle with 500 miles on it. Only time it ever spun on me.

Ordered a new input shaft retainer from Tremec to do this but it is smaller than that machined ring in the center of the BH making alignment a pain in the ass. Also the Dakota throwout bearing seems far to loose on the shaft. Truck has been apart since November and i'm honestly in over my head. I'm fucking disgusted and currently 8 deep in a case of Great Divide Samurai ale. All I want is a fucking V8 backed by a 5 speed and this is way more of a pain in the ass than it needs to be.

SOrry but, LMFAO, good to hear I wasnt the only one that took in the ass from keisler. I hope that you do get it worked out though man, its absolutley worth the rarity and fun of it.

My new flywheel showed up, ended up just going back to the concentric slave instead of the factory hydraulic setup. Put the engine and trans back in a few hours ago.

Welding over a bad weld job is tough, it looks like it should not crack again, thats for sure.

FWIW my bellhousing was absolutely perfect. After I saw yours I went and looked mine over since I have it out. Nothing remotely like that thankfully.

    Mine was made in 03/04.
