Online info shows height of 60" and width of 66", but I'm thinking that is overall width, which would include the mirrors. I'm just sayin', not that it matters to a Dak driver.
I measured mine. I'm thinking my height was around 60-62" with the drop, and the width was around 67-72" with my tires. It was several weeks ago and I don't remember the numbers, I just remember that my width was several inches wider than my height.

    Hello all,
I've got a 99 Regular Cab running the Hotchkis full TVS and Nitto 555 tires. Been looking to get out and around the cones one of these days.

That would be my truck. That picture was taken back in 07 when Jayson and I were co-driving the truck. Jayson built the truck and I bought it off of him in 07 and now race it in the Midwest Division.

I know camera's suck at really capturing what you actually see. but how in the heck can you tell where to go?! those cones are hard to see and look like they come up quick! I was looking and trying to anticipate which way you were about to turn, follow the line thorugh the turn, etc...and sometimes you zigged when my eyes zagged, and I was like "WTF!?!"

what all is done to that truck? suspension set up, etc.

    CUDA! gotta get it done!

my next mod on the truck though (next one that i need to pay for anyway) is going to be viper brakes. then I'll look for sways. it does pretty well right now with the stock sways, and hotchkis springs. my modded 318 with stock sways was able to pull away from Patrick's truck with a stock 318 and full hotchkis on the on-ramps, and in turns and stuff. so, I'm sure the full hotchkis suspension will make it even better, but for now, it's good enough for me. my brakes are the weakest part of the whole truck right now.

Gates are usually doubled cones, then they usually have a cone laying on it's side to point which direction to go.

Thanks. that helps! I thought those were cones that were previously knocked over or something!

I'm definitely going to be all ears and eyes when I go to the autox in October.

and hopefully go to more next year. a lot more.

not interested in racing for points or being competitive, just looking to go out, push the truck hard, and have fun!

I was hoping to meet you at the Mid-Div in Topeka this year (only event I attended this year so far), but you didn't show/I didn't see your orange truck.

Cuda guy....Auto-x is easy once you learn to look ahead, anticipate, and learn the course before you drive it. The cones pretty much tell you where to go. Also, don't expect to be any good for awhile, and attend a school if your region has any. There are a few more videos on my channel along with the one below.

I had full intentions to go to Topeka, came home Thursday night to load up the truck and found my Ram and trailer was stolen so I decided to cut my losses and stay home that weekend. Good news was I got the Ram back but lost the trailer. No insurance on the trailer

Damn, that sucks. Sorry to hear. If you're at any of the mid-div events next year, I'll look you up. Hopefully I'll have my Talon up and running by then.

I plan on doing all MidDiv's again next year if money permits. The only place I won't go to again is St. Louis, Mo. I don't think they held a very good event and I'm not driving 16 hours round trip to race a sub-par event.

Yeah, I heard St. Louis wasn't very good. I went out there for Memorial Day 2009 and had a bad experience as well. Rain didn't help, but it seemed like they weren't that organized. Hope to see you next year
