Thanks, it's my first attempt, learn as I go.

Not much fiberglass stuff out there other than hoods...The real weight is in the frame, but mine is down to 3292 without me with stock hood, tailgate.

But it's strip only...No creature comforts.

If that's you're first attempt you are ahead of the curve. I'm building a strictly race truck and a lot of the factory structure will be gone. I'm looking for parts that do not need additional work to strengthen them up. Like I said some stuff is super chinsy

    Mike Carlman has their doors.
Off the shelf they didn't fit and had to be modified per Mike's specs. After a couple of tries they got what he needed.

But it will be like that for just about any FG body parts used for racing. They are made for tube chassis cars/trucks, not our stock framed vehicles.

They are light... about 8 lbs. with plexiglas window, hinges, door opening hardware, and strap.

So it's more pro stock type parts.

So it's more pro stock type parts. That's what I mean all race glass parts need to be "fit" some more then others

Yeah pretty much. All their stuff is lightweight.
Usually mounted with D-zus fasteners to the chassis.

The doors aren't too bad to do on a stock bodied truck. Just need to fab some hinges, and a little work with the door opener hardware.
Other parts like fenders, panels, hoods, etc. require some mounting points for the fastneers welded to the frame.

Yep, I've done quite a few. I may just have parts made individually
