corner carving is so much fun. i just wish we had those nice driving roads out here. i live 15 minutes from a road race track (autobahn joliet, IL) but other than that its all flat roads out here with not many turns.

i can't wait to to install my new coilover suspension on the car on the 3rd. first race date this year is 4/17 and I'm just itching to get out there after this long winter.

Yakima River Road---FUN drive, unless you fuck up. It's a loooong way down in places!
Remember the last time we did that? Damn Semi driver kept trying to block my pass and once I got alongside, he tried to run me off the road!

the charger club does the tail of the dragon every year but i haven't made it down for that. we have one stretch of road about a mile long out here that is amazing but cops know it and sit on it all the time spoiling the fun.

I drove that once, damn arms were tired by the time I was done. Suppose it would have been tons more fun if I wasn't in my SUV though.

Coil-overs won't eat into tire space will they? That's the issue I have with coil-overs on our 3rd Gen GM. I'm right now about 1/4" from the strut now with the wheel. A coil over will be at least 3/8" wider than that. Can't live without the wheel width!

Yeah, autocrossers consider a tire life of 60-minutes to be acceptable.

We get 30 good runs out of our Hoosier slicks.
