Fronts are stock size with Hawk HP+ pads and EBC rotors. Back are stock drums with Porterfield R4-S pads.

I looked at doing it but it realy doesn't need it, I have everything to convert to 03/04 front breaks. If I was running faster speeds as on a road course I would but I don't want to but something on and it not be as good.

i was thinkingof using dba rotors up front, aerospace components can make a custom big brake kit setup for me, i just have to supply the spindles and a few measurements

The 03/04 has bigger rotors (11 3/4" vs 11") and 2 piston calipers. I agree that the stock breaks suck, the only resson that they work for me is that my truck weighs less then 3500lbs.

What all is required to do that conversion and does it fit under the stock r/t rims?

yea i would like to know what you need for the swap too... i have to buy calipers soon anyways. if its not too much extra effort than it would be a no brainer to switch. i have such bad luck with brakes on my truck.

'03-'04 2wd Dakota/Durango Calipers, knuckles & hubs. 2 piston calipers are better then '97- '02 single piston, plus the don't freeze up!

Your best bet is to get everything at a salvage yard. I paid $300 for everything.
