A friend and I drove two of my R/Ts 220 miles to a car show in Rio Rancho, NM.
Got the red truck out from it's winter slumber. Finally got all the trucks in one spot to take a few pics.
I actually did this to an R/T I had a couple years ago. It would not shift unless I drove it with very little throttle. Adjusted the TV cable as loose as it could be with no change. So one day I...
This is what I use. I would guess one of the parts stores would have one similar in there rent-a-tool program.

Just an update on this truck. Has given me no trouble, except for a water pump. Thankfully it waited to go bad until right after I took a 600 mile round trip in it to pick up a shaker hood for it....
I've used Ebay vendor decals for two Dakotas. Years ago I had a V6 Dakota that I lowered and put fender flares and R/T wheels on. I had one of the vendors change the "5" to a "3", and the super rare...
Well, I got an answer. There are apparently differences in some of the passages between the two cases. Most important, I forgot about the RH having governor weights and the RE having a governor...
Just wondering if it's possible. I'm pretty sure the rest of these transmissions are basically the same.
I have an '91 Dakota (5.2 TBI) with A500 trans that destroyed the OD clutch pack(and...
That's a pretty good deal, except at the bottom of the ad under "Title status" he has it listed as missing.
Plus, after getting this truck and getting it looking nice, buying the silver Dakota,...
Got the decals on, will order some tires for it tomorrow.

Gonna grab my other set of R/T wheels to put the new tires on. Gonna leave the 245s on these...
Got it back home yesterday, and spent today getting everything back on it. Still need to put the decals on and get some bigger tires for it.

I am definitely liking the color, can't wait to see it in person tomorrow. I did get to see a Dakota R/T in this color at the Mopar Nationals this past weekend, and loved it! Haha
Painter sent me some pics of it, I'm supposed to go get it tomorrow.

PM sent on airaid tube, Bosch filter, intake and valve cover gaskets, and tune up kit. I forgot about the front hub bearing in my PM, but interested in that also.
[QUOTE=spence340;527737]Took some balls to jump in and go that distance with an untested car. Sounds like something crazy that I would do just for the thrill of the adventure. I get jealous when I...
I'll be dropping it off this Sunday. Got the A/C working and a radio put in it for the 120 mile drive to Roswell. He said it should be done after I get back from my yearly trip back home to Ohio for...
Oh yes, it's going back Deep Amethyst. It's not a color you see very often. All my other Dakotas have been black or red, so this is a nice change. Haha
A few of you may remember my $500 R/T from a couple of years ago: http://www.dakotart.com/forum/showthread.php?36516-500-R-T-I-ll-take-it! Well, now I found another, just not as cheap.
Found this...
Sorry, haven't been on for a couple days, I replied to your PM.
Woohoo! We're up to four NM guys!

Now if mine only ran as good as yours I'd be set! Haha
I'm not sure, I think I forgot.:jester:
They do say that memory is the first thing to go.:jester:
Well you almost remembered me, it's a regular cab.
SiegeDG: This seems to be normal for every Mopar related forum I'm on, very few NM members. Apparently we picked the wrong...
