Welcome. I planned on doing the lap this year but I moved north before then.
I used to work at Indy, stay away.
Your looking at intake lobe centerline, dont worry about the other stuff. For now, ignore the markings on the crank gear, just adjust it so it is at 111.00 intake center line or close to it.

Sure doesnt leave very hard...
I think if the cam was degreed wrong, you would see it across the rpm range. Not just a small rpm window.
To me this seems like an ignition issue. Have you looked at the distributor gear lately?
What are you using for a distributor?
Whats the convertor flash at?
Looks awesome. Hey fyi I am moving back to lake county next month, I plan to be racing alot next year.
Hell of a light there Dave
Talk to Tom Filbert. He can answer all your swap questions.
Ill be moving back to NWI very soon.
Negative, that logo was used from '64-'71 and was brought back in '02.
Guess Ill leave mine in.
Shit yeah the front end was floating the whole pass.
I know the feeling, I do the same shit when I get excited to go to the track. So I ended up making a master list of things to take and stapled it to my bench in the garage. All in all a sloppy 9.75...
Damnit!:dumbass234:
Ive bored and sonic checked hundreds of LA blocks from all years and there is no way I would cut one .100
Mine runs through the passenger side frame rail up to a dist. block mounted on the fender.
For my Ram, you have to have two working remotes to program yourself. Dealer charges $50
I'd be onboard for a set as well.
I dont have an issue with the stock mounts and my spintechs.
