i had mine custom made. 2.5" off the driver header and run to the rear of the trans then bends over to the passenger side into the y-pipe.
i only soaked mine in castrol oil for a couple days before installing. some mentioned before, they pumped theirs in cup of oil by hand
when using blocks the most i would ever recommend would be 1". in the past dakota owners have figured out why, can cause the leafs to wave, can break for different reasons and fall out, etc...
...
just my opinion. it would be cool to actually fix this hack job but to me it wouldnt be worth the time, part it out and scrap the rest besides what you want to put in your 69.
was planning too, ive got a few loose ends to tie up on the dak tomorrow and wax it afterwards.
the charger is a boat inside also, i can fit my 3 kids in our caliber but give another 10 yrs and i dont they will
sounds more like the table amount thats being used in the sct tuning
i used red ES bushings and no issues. any balljoint that is rivited is still the factory balljoint, any that has been replaced will be bolted in. best to get joints with a greaseable nipple.
have him build it for 500hp if your just planning on doing bolt on upgrades. also have him stall the convertor for 24-2600. for the valvebody, open some ports to lightly firm/faster shifts and...
got both of mine from autozone and no issue but do take care of replacing the top plastic plug with a real plug on the back. also rent the pulley puller while your there.
thats what i was trying to say but i was half asleep. the junkyard GC fans have been said to not be any different the our factory fan but the recall GC fan was an upgrade.
the GC fans in the junkyard are not the "better e-fan" that people have been using, the ones from the dealership are an upgraded e-fan for them that use to be $50 so it was cheaper then any other you...
same place off pelham rd?
fastman 52 is what i use, the bores have been polished.
i would get a custom tune, stock tune will be rich and throw misfire codes
8NK"360"3635, the 360 is what your looking for far as being a 5.9, 360 should also be casted in the driver side of the block.
i would advise when ever installing or reinstalling injectors to put a dab of vasoline on the o-rings. also inspect the o-rings for any defects, this is a serious note to take as it can easily cause...
blocks can cause the leafs to wave.
2.5"
if there had been poly when i did mine i wouldve gone with poly mounts but im running solid but cant tell any difference, the trans is still stock rubber and itll stay rubber just to absorb trans...
it would look good but i have the long overhead console
allen fitted looks better also, good to know the floor needs a little more support
relocating the iac might give you 1hp but its just adding more gas
im running 27" tire on the rear with a 5" drop but only have a 1" til the rearend hits the bumpstops, no issues. the front i have 26" tires with 2-3" gap to the fender lip on a 3" drop, no issue. ...
