I have a Gaylord tonneau cover off my '98 Dak.
I'm not exactly sure what years it'll fit but it's a 6 1/2 ft. bed.
Fifteen years ago, it was over $700 new. I today's world it's close to $1000....
I have several parts for a 1998 Dodge Dakota. As this will require local pickup, I would like to sell this all at once.

As an update, I went with a Peragon cover. I had Line-X do the bed and rails and then they installed the Peragon on top. It's been on a year with no issues. Relatively inexpensive compared to others....
must396,
The upper control arms at Autozone don't fit my 1998. Thanks!
See, that's why I ask questions. I might be biting off more than I can chew but you've, at least, raised my confidence level. Thanks!
Thanks, I'll let you guys know how I made out.
Bowman24,
Thanks for your insight. Digging in, I'd guess, is the only way.
WeezyRT,
That makes sense!
Thanks everybody for your help!
Guys,
I appreciate your help. but I was trying to replace the part because like Hugh Jassole said, "Getting the old bushings out is a bitch without a torch". And I don't have a torch.
99dart,

I planned on replacing the front end of my Dakota with Moog parts but I've run into a snag. Moog only makes upper control arms for 4WD Dakotas. Can anyone give me suggestions as to another company...
Z06Man,
Thanks!
My 98 doesn't have a logo either.
Z06Man,
Just a guess but there is an ABS speed sensor sitting on the rear differential. Make sure the connection is good. Does the brake light come on at the same time?
RC Kota and Silver2001,
I am NOT having my truck judged, it's a daily driver. Just fun to be with other enthusiasts! I hope to see you both there.
My 2 cents!
This is the pump I bought, it works great.

I tried this last year with no luck, but I'm stubborn, going to try again.

Yes, simple fix, case closed. Thanks to all for your help.
Hugh Jassole,
You are the winner!! After a week at the local Dodge dealership and hours of diagnostics, the battery was bad (3 weeks old). I had it tested and it pulled the cranking hours it...
5857glendon,
Thanks, great info!
Kingst3r,
I had 2 different tanks of gas and I used SeaFoam additive in the second tank while doing the 250 miles. I am still waiting for the dealership to let me know what they found. I'll let...
HA!
70ta,
If you are talking R/T, 5.9L engines NEVER came with manual transmissions. You could order a 5.2L or smaller with a manual as mtlcafan79 stated.
From your lips to God's ears!!
BigRob,
I appreciate your help. I've given up and brought it to a dealership for a rectal exam.
Filthy,
I now have over 250 miles on the truck and it's still doing the same thing. I've had cold starts, hot starts, local traffic, stop and go traffic and highway miles, nothing has worked. I...
