I keep checking on this to see if its sold as it is tempting me to come look at this. Very nice truck.
So the only part I have that will work on the T-56 swap would be the clutch pedal/bracket?
Appreciate the input. I figure this just puts me closer to having 3 pedals, I only have to come up with another grand or maybe $2k if I also buy spintech mid headers and y-pipe. If I blow it up or it...
I get what you are saying, but having to drop another $1,500-$2,000 for a t-56 is not an option right now. Basically, I have a 160k mile stock engine with an m1, 52mm tb and k&n filter so it is not...
drove mine this weekend
updating here because I found a local guy on craigslist that was parting out an 03 dak 2wd with 100k miles. Ended up getting clutch pedal assembly, slave cylinder with hydraulic lines, driveshaft,...
Put the battery back in it after not starting it since last fall, cranked it a few seconds and started up and idled great. Took it for a short ride and fell in love with it all over again.
Bringing this back to the top to see how you guys are liking your purchases? Have you done anything to them?
Excuse the newb question but I am assuming you decided to put a procharger on it instead of rebuilding the motor with better heads/cam/increase compression/stroke the motor is because the procharger...
I seen him advertising those parts too. From my understanding he bought the truck that was already built and is selling/parting everything off to put something else in the truck.
Even the ford guys have fun with it. I was behind an 01-04 cobra the other day and he had a sign on the back window that said "hp is how fast you hit the crowd and torque is how far you carry the...
Thanks for the info but I ended up passing on it because the welder I talked to said welding aluminum of this type only causes it to become even more brittle. I never planned on putting tons of power...
That is what is making this so tempting, the hard parts are all there. All I need to complete is flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw bearing, pilot bearing and the reverse light switch connector....
Looking at purchasing a nv3500 with extras to put in my r/t. However the one trans tab is cracked and the other has already broken off and he doesn't have that piece. Can this be fixed without...
installed a drivers side window regulator and lower steering shaft yesterday, front rotors and pads tomorrow
looks like I got lucky and bought mine just before they sold out......that rarely happens to me
very nice work
Finally got it running. The little road blocks that happen when changing an intake and not knowing you need little things. I have drove it a few times now and definitely has better throttle response.
After reading some tunes post on Facebook coming from FRP and people just replacing the the top end and have 150k+ miles makes me think why even bother pulling the motor next fall to have it gone...
awesome :r/t smile: :rockwoot:
looks great.....what's up with the battery box????
Have some questions about getting your block decked. Was this your idea or machine shop? What kinda extra time/money was involved in doing this? From reading everything I can, I can only guess you...
Thanks again for your input. Nice read on the exhaust manifold. I also read your post about pistons. I stopped at a machine shop that was recommended to me by a friend and talked with the cylinder...
Thanks...basically yes. from all my other reading heads, intake, t/b, tune all seem to have been covered. The exhaust situation seems to range all over from running dual 2 1/2" to s a single 3". I...
